Good chemistry between Ajay and Kajal!

Reliance Entertainment's next venture 'Singham', directed by Rohit Shetty, is already creating a massive buzz in the industry. Apart from the action and the enthralling promos, the film is also getting a great response when it comes to the music!

The song 'Saathiya', which is a romantic love ballad, is already a success! Picturised on Ajay Devgn and southern beauty Kajal Aggarwal, this track is said to be one of the most promising romantic songs of this year! The soulful tunes and the great on screen chemistry between Ajay and Kajal has caught the attention of the audiences.

The music of the melodious track has been given by the talented duo Ajay-Atul. The queen of romantic songs, Shreya Ghoshal has lent her beautiful voice to this song along with Composer Ajay.

Looks like lovers everywhere have a new song to romance to this monsoon!

Kajal Agarwal with Ajay Devgn!

Kajal Agarwal who is making her debut in Hindi version of 'Singam' with Ajay Devgn is playing the role of a Goan girl. She herself revealed this to the media recently.

Though Anushka Shetty played the role in Tamil and Telugu versions of this film, Kajal bagged it in Hindi. When asked if she would imitate Anushka in Hindi version, she said,

"Absolutely not. I am playing the role of a Goan girl in this movie. It is made according to the sensibilities of Hindi audience. I have started shooting for this film. Infact my role has been re-written completely for this film. Anushka did a great job in 'Singam' that released as 'Yamudu' in Telugu. If I have any doubts on the role, I will certainly contact her" Kajal said.

Riding high on success with 'Darling', 'Mr Perfect' and 'Brindavanam', Kajal is now number one heroine in Tollywood. She is being talked about as the next Soundarya, thanks to her roles. We are yet to see how her career in Bollywood shapes up.

Ajay Devgn uttered, “Please don’t get married”!

‘Please don’t marry’ – it was a shocking statement for Karan Johar himself as he threw himself out for his chair on hearing it straight from the shoulders of Ajay Devgn. It all happened during the most controversially entertaining show of ‘Koffee with Karan’ as Ajay was questioned about piece of advise for Saif-Kareena couple during the rapid fire round. Apparently, Ajay Devgn uttered, “Please don’t get married”.

First off all, Ajay Devgn not appearing along with his jodi Kajol turned out to be a shocking factor on the sets and then with this statement, it blew everyone out of waters.

Since it was a rapid fire round, Karan couldn’t go ahead asking Ajay Devgn for special reasons for his statement.

Akshay Kumar Ajay Devgn to work together!

In what may well be a casting coup, Rohit Shetty has got rivals Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn to work together again after five years. The two actors have previously co-starred in three films -- Suhaag (1994), Khakee (2004) and Insan (2005).

Shetty, director of the successful Golmaal franchise is planning to bring them back together in his next project, being touted as an action entertainer. A source close to Rohit reveals, "He has a script in mind which will work only with Ajay and Akshay. It's an all-out action film with unreal stunts along with his trademark dose of comedy. He has already approached the actors and they have agreed to consider the project."

 

A source analyses their troubled history, "Akshay and Ajay have had similar career graphs -- both started off as action heroes, later moving on to lighter comic roles. However, they have consciously avoided working with each other since 2005. Even though producers would go to them with projects, they would cite date reasons and steer clear of working with each other."

 

If Shetty can pull this off, the two actors who usually spar in different films during the festive season may well go guns ablaze for the same film

Kajol blessed with baby boy!

It’s celebration time for the Devgans. At 9.20 am on Monday, actress Kajol gave birth to a baby boy at Mumbai’s Leelavati Hospital in Bandra. Congratulatory messages from the Bollywood fraternity have been pouring in.
According to hospital sources, both the baby and the mother are doing fine.
Ajay and Kajol already have a daughter named Nysa. The arrival of a baby boy completes the family picture.

Friends from the film industry have started to congratulating the couple.
Shahrukh Khan tweeted: “Bringing life on earth is the most beautiful gift of God.Allah bless Ajay & Kajol with happiness & health. son of a devgun wow masha allah,"

 

Priyanka Chopra wrote: “It's amazing when a new life comes into the world.. Congrats Ajay and kajol on the birth of ur baby boy.”

Underwear as a gift from Katrina Kaif

Be on your guard when Ajay Devgan happens to be around. No one cautioned Katrina Kaif about her prankster of a co-star on the sets of Rajneeti. Devgan, who is quite notorious for playing pranks on his co-actors, pulled a fast one on Katrina when she suspected the least.

On the sets of ‘Rajneeti’, he came up with a madcap idea to pull Kat’s leg. According to the stories trickling from the unit-members, Devgan first took everyone on the sets, including the actors Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpai, into confidence.

With a straight face he told Katrina that it was Nana Patekar’s birthday that day and she should wish him and present him a cake on everyone’s behalf. He also told her that a cake had been arranged already.

What next? Kat was game. She dressed up in a salwar-kameez and went to Nana with the cake box given by Devgan.

Lo! What did Nana find when he opened the box - a tattered underwear, a purani chappal and a fake moustache. While Katrina was shell-shocked for a few seconds, Nana understood the prank. Meanwhile, Ajay, Arjun and Manoj burst out in peels of laughter. Kat, too, took the prank sportingly and joined in the fun.

True, when it comes to playing pranks, Devgan takes the cake.
